The cultural heritage and museums of Anjou

The churches and abbeys, windmills and museums, especially in the Maine-et-Loire area, share a remarkable history, at the crossover between French faith and art. Two fabulous examples are Abbey at Fontevraud and the “Tenture de l’Apocalypse”, two masterpieces born out of Anjou’s history.
