Parc de découverte Cap Loire

Cap Loire is a unique visitor attraction located between Nantes and Angers: discover 3 Loire boats in the gardens, including a visitable barge! Just a stone's throw from the Loire by bike in Montjean-sur-Loire, a magnificent seafaring village.

Cap Loire is a website dedicated to the world of the Loire and its boats. There are no boats on the water here! They are installed directly in the gardens and visitors can discover them on land. Visit the Cap Vert barge for a truly immersive trip back to the days of the mariner.

The site is divided into 4 areas:

- The exhibition, which immerses you in the life of the mariners with experiments, fun modules and films.
- A visit to the Cap Vert barge, where you can become the boat's captain.
- 1 hectare of themed gardens, with the emblematic Montjeannaise, a traditional 15-metre-long wooden boat from the Loire.
- An area dedicated to fishing in the Loire, with La Billette, a cabaneous toue with a huge weir net used to catch large shad.

Plus: Discover the park in a fun, independent way with a giant "Where is Denis?" search and find game - over 50 objects to find in the exhibition, the boat and the garden!

+ More than 100 events and games are on offer from April to November: Easter egg hunts, treasure hunts, treasure hunts, giant search and find, escape games, secret passages, etc.
