Our favourite: the Muscadet Coteaux de la Loire ‘Champtoceaux’, a Muscadet aged on its lees for five years! And for lovers of fine sparkling wines: the Crémant de Loire ‘Léon & Jean’, a tribute to the grandfathers.
You can also take the opportunity to sample the beef rillettes and other jars of AOP Maine-Anjou meat, produced from their herd of Rouge-des-Prés, a local breed of cow.
