Starting at the museum dedicated to Joachim du Bellay, take a walk through the town to discover his statue and the ruins of his birthplace at La Turmelière. The itinerary, punctuated by poetic extracts from the famous Renaissance author, takes you through vineyards and orchards and reveals some fine views over the Loire Valley.
This 7-kilometre walk through the commune of Liré is ideal for families and friends, and is accessible to pushchairs. Allow two hours for this romantic walk.
