The restaurant is housed in a troglodytic dwelling and features a host of traditional items, including wrought-iron chairs, crockery and frescoes. The cuisine, prepared by chef Arnaud Montais, is refined and inspired by ancient recipes.
The cuisine is based mainly on old-fashioned vegetables (sweet potato, parsnip, sunflower, pennyroyal...), freshwater fish (lamprey, mullet, eel, barbel...) and marinades and stews. The menu changes with the seasons... Reservations are advisable.
A tasty break to plan as part of a visit to the Petite Cité de Caractère de Turquant. The restaurant is located right in the heart of the village, on the route of the Loire à Vélo and the GR3.
