Classified as a Gîte de Charme in the heart of the Anjou vineyards, this authentic gîte welcomes you to former stables and soue dating from the mid-19ᵉ century, carefully restored in keeping with traditional tufa and sandstone materials, while offering all the comforts expected for a pleasant stay. Nestled in a quiet, leafy setting, between meadows and vineyards, this gîte is an invitation to relax and discover Anjou, just 20 km from Angers, a city of art and history renowned for its castle and rich heritage.

With a floor area of 89 m², the ground floor features a large, bright fitted kitchen with dining area, ideal for sharing convivial moments, as well as a large living room with lounge, dining area, sofa and fireplace, perfect for cosying up by the fire after a day's walking. Upstairs, the sleeping area comprises a bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed, a second bedroom with two 90x190 cm beds, a bathroom with bath, storage space and WC. Outside, the unfenced garden opens onto the meadows on the living room side and invites you to take full advantage of the peace and quiet of the countryside, while the terrace and courtyard on the kitchen side allow you to enjoy the fine weather in complete tranquillity. Horses can be accommodated.

Situated just 5 km from the Loire, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the gîte is an ideal starting point for beautiful walks or cycle rides along the river, particularly on the La Loire à Vélo itinerary. Also just 5 km away, the majestic Château de Brissac, the highest château in France, is well worth a visit for its elegant salons and gardens. Wine lovers will love the many cellars and estates in the nearby Anjou-Villages and Aubance vineyards. For a family outing, the Doué-la-Fontaine Biopark is around 25 km away, while the fascinating troglodyte village of Rochemenier, 23 km away, offers a unique heritage. Hiking enthusiasts can also take the nearby GR3 trail and enjoy the Loire landscapes.
