Nestled in the heart of the Loire Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this guesthouse welcomes you to a charming, traditional village in the Saumur region, set amongst the Loire River, cave dwellings and vineyards. Situated on the Loire à Vélo cycle route, it is an ideal stopover for travellers seeking accommodation with character, relaxation and new discoveries, whether as a couple or a family.

Former bakers with a passion for their craft, the owners will treat you to fresh bread, homemade pastries and their table d’hôtes, served in the troglodyte cellars – a unique setting particularly popular in summer.

The house has 5 comfortable and bright rooms:

Saumur and Montsoreau with a double bed (140x200 cm) (ground floor)
Souzay: two open-plan areas comprising two bunk beds (90x190 cm) and a double bed (140x200 cm) (ground floor)
Fontevraud: an area with two single beds (90x200 cm), a corridor leading to a bedroom with a double bed (140x200 cm) and a shower room (first floor)
Turquant: separate bedroom accessible via around fifteen steps from the courtyard, equipped with a double bed (140x200 cm) (first floor)

Highlights: Wellness area with a 2–4-person spa and Norwegian sauna (20 mins included, €25 for each additional 20 mins), bike shed, games room with pool table and table football, relaxation lounge and a reading room.

In every room: Wi-Fi, reversible air conditioning, wooden or PVC shutters.

ACCESS: there are around 50 steps leading up to the house from the car park. Drop-off point available in the courtyard. Access is currently being improved.

IMPORTANT: For breakfast and the table d’hôtes, the temperature in the cellars naturally ranges between 12 and 15°C all year round. Table d’hôtes by reservation (€32.90 per person). Pets are welcome. Dog on site.
