Charming, flower-filled alleyways, buildings with tuffeau stone walls… This “Small Town of Character” and “Charming Village in Anjou” boasts a remarkable architectural and botanical heritage.
Come and stay at La Floréciane guest house, a beautiful building dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, offering two rooms:
- Garden Side: 160x200cm bed, separate shower room and toilet. Private outdoor area with garden furniture overlooking the garden.
- Courtyard Side: 160x200cm bed, separate shower room and toilet. Private outdoor area with garden furniture overlooking the courtyard
Both rooms have separate access from outside.
You can also enjoy the outdoor areas: a large, tree-lined garden of 3,000 m² and a beautiful courtyard of 170 m² surrounded by historic buildings and greenery. Shared facilities in these communal areas include: garden furniture, a pergola, sun loungers… An adjoining room (unheated) also features a fridge and everything you need to make a hot drink. A cosy space for playing, eating and admiring the many works of art on display.

Local attractions: La Girouetterie, a workshop specialising in handcrafted weather vanes, and the Seigneurerie du Bois. Montreuil-Bellay, with its château on the banks of the Thouet, and the Château de Brézé, 10 minutes away. Saumur and the Cadre Noir, 13 minutes away. The Vélofrancette cycle route, 7 minutes away by bike. Doué-la-Fontaine, the Bioparc Zoo and its many tours of the troglodyte sites, 15 minutes away. Fontevraud Abbey is 17 minutes away. The towns along the Loire such as Turquant, Montsoreau and Candes-Saint-Martin are 20 minutes away and well worth a visit. Angers is 1 hour away.
Don’t forget to take a stroll through the surrounding vineyards and sample the local wines.
Breakfast is included, featuring a variety of homemade and local produce. A folding bed and high chair are available on request. No television. Wi-Fi internet access. This is an old property with steps in various places; it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
