A vibrant evening of Corsican music with the I Muvrini polyphonic choir!
The church of Notre-Dame in Durtal will be alive with the sound of Corsican polyphony during an exceptional evening concert by the I Muvrini polyphonic choir.
This group of 4 singers (Jean-François Luciani, Alain Bernardini, Stéphane Mangiantini, Thierry Christoforo), including 3 members of the famous Corsican group "I Muvrini", wanted to revive an ancestral tradition deeply rooted in Corsican villages: that of meeting, sharing and singing handed down from generation to generation. There's no artifice here, just a return to the essentials: voices, natural acoustics and raw emotion.
As the evening progresses, storytelling and song follow one another, carried by romantic texts, sometimes tinged with humour, always humanist and sacred. The powerful voices intertwine, offering sounds that are both deep and flowery. A rare musical experience, to be enjoyed to the full.
