An evening of readings at the Père riou café in Morannes!
Let yourself be swept away by an original literary evening full of surprises, brought to you by the "Fous de Lecture à Riou", Café Riou's reading group.
For around 1h15, the public is invited to discover a selection of letters from writers, painters, poets and artists. The letters are sometimes serious, pungent, tender or full of humour, addressed to other artists, relatives, patrons or even the public. These intimate and sincere words offer a unique insight into the lives and sensibilities of these great cultural figures.
The authors featured include Jacques Higelin, François Cheng, Montesquieu, Guy de Maupassant, Paul Cézanne, Pierre Perret, Gustave Flaubert, Boris Vian, Simone de Beauvoir, Émile Zola, Madame de Sévigné and many more.
But be warned... not everything can be revealed!
Over the course of the evening, the audience will discover a delicate staging, readings in several voices, as well as more festive and participative moments that will punctuate the evening and create a real complicity with the spectators.
Surprises guaranteed!
Come and share this time of reading and emotion, and let yourself be surprised.
