Guide Amélie Bruneau offers a guided walk through the vineyards, with wine tasting at the Château, on the theme of vines and wines throughout history.

Amélie brings together two of the Loire Valley's great themes: vineyards and history!

Departing from the Château de Montreuil-Bellay, this walk allows you to discover the vine, the grape varieties and the local terroir, while comparing wine-growing techniques of yesterday and today, through amusing historical anecdotes!
You'll also discover a bucolic part of the old town of Montreuil-Bellay, on the banks of the River Thouet.

The Château de Montreuil-Bellay, one of the last great Châteaux of the Loire to produce its own wines, welcomes you for a tasting at the end of the walk.
