Balade Historique et Gourmande à Saint-Laurent-de-la-Plaine

Guided tours by volunteer historians of the market towns of Saint-Laurent-de-la-Plaine and Bourgneuf-en-Mauges, with lunch in a restaurant.

Organised by the Saint-Laurent Local History Group, this year's historical and gourmet walk will take you on a discovery of the reconstruction of the market town of Saint-Laurent-de-la-Plaine following the Vendée Wars.
The programme includes a morning visit to the Musée des Métiers and the market town of Saint-Laurent-de-la-Plaine, followed by lunch at the "Les Deux Clochers" restaurant in Bourgneuf-en-Mauges, and an afternoon tour of the market town of Bourgneuf-en-Mauges and the Notre-Dame-de-Charité chapel, all accompanied by a team of passionate historians.

Journeys between Saint-Laurent-de-la-Plaine and Bourgneuf-en-Mauges at lunchtime, and between Bourgneuf-en-Mauges and the Notre-Dame-de-Charité chapel in the afternoon, will be by car. So you'll need a car (car-pooling may be possible depending on availability, to be arranged locally).
Departure from the Musée des Métiers at 10am. Tour ends at 5pm.

Lunch included. By reservation only, with the Musée des Métiers.
