Balade Historique et Gourmande à Saint-Florent-le-Vieil

Come and discover the history of the Vendée insurrection in the heart of the Mauges and the history of reconstruction in Saint Florent le Vieil!

Saint Florent le Vieil is one of the key sites of the Vendée Wars! Follow in the footsteps of Cathelineau, D'Elbée and Bonchamps in this Petite Cité de Caractère, with a visit to the village and the abbey church. The day will end at the Musée des Guerres de Vendée, where a friendly drink will be served.

Lunch included. The "gourmet" part of the tour will take place in a room near the chapel of St Charles known as Cathelineau (with a local caterer).
