An 11 km hiking trail in the heart of the vineyards, not far from the Loire à Vélo cycle route.
Take advantage of this variant of the Fours aux Moulins. You'll discover some of the thousand mills that used to turn in the region. Through magnificent vineyards and small paths, enjoy a moment in the heart of nature.
The route starts at La Pommeraye, a village whose development was marked by its agricultural vocation and the establishment of the Sisters of Providence in the 19th century. Along the way, hikers will come across old windmills, reminders of the cereal-growing industry that once dominated this area of hedged farmland.
The terrain offers views over the Loire Valley without presenting any major technical difficulties. The transition between wooded areas, vineyards and the banks of the Loire ensures a walk punctuated by a variety of atmospheres.
