ADVICE AND PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Departing from Angers, cale de la Savatte, this loop links Le Lion d'Angers, Segré-en-Anjou-Bleu and Chateau-Gontier (Mayenne) before descending to Angers via the Vélo Francette. We recommend cycling this loop in a clockwise direction.
The route is mainly on greenways (towpath and old railway line).
It can be completed in 2 or 3 days and is not particularly difficult or steep.
To the south of Chambellay (towards Angers), the route crosses a shared lane and the Mayenne hillside, which can be a challenge.
