Moulin de Sarré

The last of the nine water-powered mills that once ran along the Avort stream, the Sarré mill produces the millstone flour that sustains good bread.

You can also eat at the Auberge du Moulin de Sarré (booking required). You can also visit the mill free of charge. The Lauriou family prepares the local speciality, fouée, a small bubble of bread baked in a wood-fired oven and topped with regional produce.
