At Château du Pin, 60 pruned yew trees lining an exotic terrace of orange and lemon trees spark the imagination. The reverie continues as you stroll around the 18-storey gardens and the terraced ponds with fountains leading to the flower-filled banks of the old moat. Near the outbuildings, a seventeenth-century walled kitchen garden houses a collection of roses.
