Situated in Chemillé-en-Anjou, in the Hyrôme Valley, the Jardin Camifolia brings together more than 600 species of plants for health, beauty and wellbeing across 3.5 hectares.
A selection of plants with astonishing properties, such as chamomile, the region’s iconic plant.
Through scents, rustling sounds, textures, tastings and colours, the Jardin Camifolia takes visitors on a playful and unusual stroll that awakens all the senses.
The site holds the ‘Jardin botanique de France et des pays francophones’, ‘GRAINE Pays de la Loire’ and ‘Qualité Tourisme’ labels.
The Jardin Camifolia has introduced a new landscaped and scenographic trail, featuring six themed gardens:
- the hill of scents
- the avenue of local plants
- the valley of secret plants
- the flavourful meadow
- the ephemeral garden
- the botanical garden
- the factory of colours and thread
Relaxation areas are available throughout the trail so that you can make the most of this educational, fascinating site, brimming with discoveries.
You can also explore the garden in a fun way with our new discovery trail in the form of a treasure hunt. Then, through a sensory, playful and hands-on trail, your children can stimulate their senses.

Start your exploration of the area with a visit to the Jardin Camifolia, then have a picnic there. For the occasion, why not hire a local caterer such as Math&Naïs, Aux Saveurs du Jour or Sébastien dans sa cuisine? Make the most of the afternoon with a walk around the Coulée Verte or the Croix Bergère, and round it off with a quick dip at the Coulvée leisure centre.
The next day, explore the village of Chemillé and have lunch at the crêperie Les Saveurs de Jean before heading to the Parc Oriental de Maulévrier.
