Contemplate the House's expertise, savour the gentle pace of life on its estate, and let yourself be carried away by the passion of its teams: from cellar tours to vineyard walks and wine tastings, each experience is an ode to sharing.
Since it was founded over 130 years ago on the banks of the Loire, Langlois has been driven by an uncompromising quest for quality. A family history of Loire excellence, begun by Édouard Langlois and his wife Jeanne Chateau, then joined in 1973 by the Bollinger Group, won over by this unique heritage.
True to its quest for the highest standards, the House then chose the rigorous Crémant de Loire appellation, while constantly transcending its standards. Behind the natural elegance of its cuvées lies an extremely precise eye for detail. By turning simplicity into an art, Langlois has created a bubble with an inimitable identity, both sincere and delicate.
Langlois is keen to share its expertise in winemaking and its passion for the terroirs of the Loire. And to discover and experience what great Langlois wines are all about, there's nothing like a visit to the incomparable Langlois site. From the cellars and grape-picking room on the hillside, every panorama is breathtaking: below, a breathtaking view of the Château de Saumur and the Loire, while the Clos Saint-Florent vines stretch out above.
Langlois offers three unique experiences for wine lovers and visitors with a thirst for knowledge, three plunges into the heart of its art of living. These are special opportunities to experience at first hand what constitutes the soul of the House:
- The secrets of wine (booking recommended)
- The vineyards in a horse-drawn carriage (booking recommended)
- A visit to the cellars: a captivating discovery of the Langlois cellars, dug into the tufa rock in the Middle Ages and opened in 1800 for wine-making, followed by a tasting of its vintages. (booking essential)
On request, the Maison Langlois opens its doors for tailor-made tours and private events (company seminars, cocktail parties).
