Domaine des Varannes

Heir to a four-generation tradition, Pierre-Damien Guichoux took over the family estate in 1991. His wife Françoise joined him in 2005. She plays an active role in welcoming you to the winery and sharing their attachment to the terroir with you.

The vineyards are planted in part on a special terroir where coal was once mined, giving a special note to their wines. Françoise and Pierre-Damien will welcome you to the estate to share their passion for the noble quintessence of wine.

They offer guided tours by appointment, including a visit to the winery, a tour of the estate and a commented wine tasting "Harmonie mets & vins".

They believe that networking is essential if they are to share their passion for wine. An enthusiastic tourist is an ambassador for our region in his or her place of residence - that's the motto of this friendly couple.
