Le Bistrot de la Place is the place to be if you love eating and drinking well and want to rediscover the atmosphere of a French bistro. We work with fresh, local produce processed on site. All our food is home-made! We offer à la carte menus and dishes, as well as a selection of over 40 wines by the glass and over 500 by the bottle. If you're feeling peckish, we've got a platter of cold meats and cheeses, and oysters in season. In fine weather, the terrace offers a pleasant view of the old town of Saumur and the beautiful church of St Pierre, on a pedestrian square.
