Plan d'eau de baignade de Millocheau

Located just a stone's throw from the town centre, the Millocheau lake offers an exceptional view of the Loire waterfront. During the summer months, bathers can enjoy fresh, healthy water in complete safety.

Swimming is supervised by lifeguards from late June to late August (the pool is empty the rest of the year). Water quality is monitored throughout the season by the Agence Régionale de Santé (ARS).

For people with reduced mobility, a tiralo-type wheelchair is available free of charge during bathing season opening hours. This is an amphibious wheelchair that can be used to roll on the ground or float on the water. The beneficiary must be accompanied by a close relative of their choice.

Three changing cubicles, open to all and accessible to people with reduced mobility, are also set up near the bathing area.

Facilities and activities available at the Millocheau leisure park:
- Picnic area with tables and barbecues, public toilets.
- Skate park, beach volleyball and beach soccer pitches, fitness trail, children's games, bowling green, teqball.
- Canoeing and sailing centre nearby: canoes for hire for trips down the Loire.
- Entertainment programme every season.
