Water sports centre: whether you want to discover the exceptional natural and historical setting of the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Nature Park, take a performance-based approach to learning how to get the most out of your boat or experience the unique thrill of gliding as you try to tame Europe's last wild river. Our qualified instructors are on hand all year round to offer you the activity that's right for you.
Whether you're in a kayak, catamaran, dinghy, windsurf or paddle, and whether you're a beginner or an advanced sailor, a private individual, a school pupil, a person with reduced mobility, in a group or on your own, anyone who wants to go sailing is welcome at the Pôle Nautique de Saumur!
Leisure centre :
Swimming area open from the end of June to the end of August, and supervised during these periods, in the afternoon every day.
(The pool is empty the rest of the year).

During the summer:
- Walkers can circle the base and enjoy a fitness trail, a picnic area with tables and barbecues and, of course, the swimming area.
- Reading on the beach:
Books and magazines are available during bathing hours.

At the beach and water sports areas, the municipal sports school organises special events.

- Accessible to all:
To improve access for people with reduced mobility (PRM), PRM parking spaces have been reserved.
Three changing cubicles open to all and accessible to people with reduced mobility have also been installed near the swimming area.
A tiralo-type wheelchair (PRM equipment) is available free of charge during bathing hours for anyone with reduced mobility or a recognised disability. This is an amphibious wheelchair that can be used to roll on the ground or float on the water. The beneficiary must be accompanied by a close relative of their choice.
