Les Laurielles

Les Ulmes is a village made up of several hamlets with a varied cultural heritage. This is where you'll find the charmingly restored 18th-century guest house with swimming pool, "Les Laurielles".

Located between Tours and Angers, less than 15 minutes from Saumur and the banks of the Loire, welcome to Les Laurielles guest house: 2 rooms for 2 people in a beautiful tufa stone property.

The Toucan room: on the ground floor, beautiful 21m² air-conditioned room with lounge, sofa and coffee table, television, 160x200cm bed. En-suite shower room with vanity unit, heated towel rail and large walk-in shower. Separate WC.

The Colibri room, on the first floor, is accessed by an outside staircase. Armchair, small table, television, 160x200cm bed, air conditioning. Go down 3 steps to access the shower room: vanity unit, wc, walk-in shower, heated towel rail.

The bedrooms have separate entrances from the owners' house, so you can come and go as you please.

A summer kitchen in the garden is available for preparing and eating meals during your stay: fridge, freezer, hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, crockery (unheated).
Access to the secure swimming pool, enclosed by walls and protected by a lockable gate, to be shared with guests of the chambres d'hôtes and the gîte. You will also have access to the rest of the property, a vast area of 2,500m² to be shared with guests of the chambres d'hôtes: lawn, orchard, children's games, badminton net, football goal, petanque pitch, sauna, etc. A bike shed and bike hire facilities are available on site.

The owners will be delighted to welcome you and advise you on outings and discovering the surrounding vineyards. You are 10 minutes from Doué-la-Fontaine, its famous zoo Le Bioparc and numerous troglodyte sites. This is an ideal location from which to explore the Anjou region: the Château de Saumur, the Cadre Noir, troglodytic caves, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud just 25 minutes away, the banks of the Loire, a UNESCO World Heritage site, as well as picturesque villages and local markets. Nature lovers will also appreciate the cycling routes, the Loire à Vélo, the hiking trails and the wine-growing landscapes typical of the region.
