La Sourguinerie

Gîte for 2 people, all on one level, in a building dating from the XVIIᵉ century... You will be seduced by its authenticity and peaceful atmosphere.

You will be based on a 22-hectare property of protected nature, freely accessible for walking and discovery. A peaceful environment, surrounded by vineyards, inviting you to relax for a rejuvenating stay.

At the front of the gîte, a lovely north-facing terrace, naturally cool in summer, lets you make the most of the fine weather: garden furniture, sun loungers, parasol and small electric barbecue.

Inside, the 30m² living room has high ceilings and an exposed roof frame. It retains some superb old features, including a 17thᵉ century mantelpiece, embellished with a small wood-burning stove for your use. A relaxation area with two armchairs completes this cosy setting.

The fully-equipped kitchen includes a fridge, induction hob, oven, microwave and everything you need to cook, as well as a small dining area.

The sleeping area has :

- A large 16 m² bedroom with 140×190 cm bed, small bookcase, shelf and plenty of storage space.
- A shower room with large shower, washbasin, washing machine and heated towel rail
- Separate WC

The owners, who are passionate about forestry, will be delighted to talk to you about biodiversity and environmental protection, if you are interested in the subject. The forests, orchards and meadows surrounding the gîte have been planted and maintained by the owners themselves. The permaculture vegetable garden can also be a source of discoveries and useful tips...

⚠️ Important: the site is not suitable for children, as there is a deep, unsecured pond in front of the gîte and the outside area is not enclosed.

6 minutes away: Brissac-sur-Aubance and the highest castle in France. Angers 25 minutes away: a cultural city with the château, St Maurice's cathedral, the Jean Lurçat museum and the David d'Angers gallery. The many lively dance halls on the banks of the Loire in season: En Rouge et Loire and the Port Thibault dance hall. The island of Béhuard is 20 minutes away. Stroll along the banks of the Loire on foot or by bike, and don't forget to visit the winegrowers for tastings.
Supermarket with butcher, baker and chemist 4 km away. Brissac, 7 km away, has a Thursday market and all shops.
