La Roche d'Etiau is a troglodyte gîte, an exceptional place!
In the heart of Anjou.
Set in a typical Anjou landscape, between hills and forests close to the Loire, La Roche d'Étiau is a troglodytic gîte carved into a tufa cliff. It houses two lodgings: La Grange (sleeps 5) and Le Troglo (sleeps 4).
This is a unique place to spend time with family or friends. The courtyard and garden invite you to relax and unwind.

THE ACCOMMODATION :
La Grange (102 m²)
Ground floor:
- Large convivial living room
- fitted and equipped kitchen
- WC.
First floor:
- 1 bedroom with 1 x 160 cm bed
- 1 bedroom with 1 x 160cm bed, 1 x 90cm bed and a 90cm extra mattress.
- Shared bathroom with WC, shower and double washbasin.
Radiant panel heating.
Le Troglo (75 m², on one level) - Possibility of renting the troglo alone (sleeps 4).
- Living room with fireplace and alcove
- Fitted and equipped kitchen
- 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (140 cm)
- 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (90 cm) (can be made into a double bed)
Each bedroom has its own private bathroom (WC, shower, washbasin)
Underfloor heating
The troglo can be rented on its own.
There's a place for everyone here. The accommodation offers spacious, well-separated areas so you can enjoy time together... without ever getting in each other's way.
Laundry room with washing machine
Private parking for 3/4 cars.
Access for travellers
- As far as possible, we are on hand to welcome you and for your departure.
- If we are unavailable, a key box is available for collection and/or deposit when we are away.
