Set amidst the rolling countryside and vineyards of the Layon, a charming 2-bedroom holiday cottage sleeping 5, with shared use of a swimming pool.

A peaceful and authentic setting in a charming little village: old houses, quiet alleyways and vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see... A true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Outside, there are three areas to enjoy the fine weather: :

- A terrace on the ground floor with garden furniture and a parasol;
- A second terrace on the lower level, accessible via the utility room and then the cellar, bordered by rock with views of the castle ruins and the surrounding hillsides.
- The swimming pool area, shared with the owners daily from 9 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 6 pm.

On the ground floor, a large living area with a lounge, sofa, armchairs and a television, a fully fitted kitchen and a spacious dining area perfect for socialising. In winter, the wood-pellet stove provides gentle warmth. A separate toilet.

Upstairs, there is a first bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed, offering a beautiful, unobstructed view of the vineyards and the castle ruins;
a second bedroom with a 140x190 cm bed, a 90x190 cm bed and a cot. On the same landing, the bathroom has a large shower, a vanity unit and a toilet. Both bedrooms are fitted with ceiling fans.

The owners – who are winegrowers and neighbours of the gîte – will be on hand to welcome you and offer advice throughout your stay.

An ideal location for exploring the region:
- 15 minutes from Doué-en-Anjou,
- 30 minutes from Saumur,
- 1 hour from Angers and Puy du Fou,
- 1 hour 20 minutes from Futuroscope.

Further information: swimming pool dimensions: 10 x 5 m, heated by a solar water heater, open from late May to late September. Digital terrestrial TV channels only; television is not connected to the internet; no Wi-Fi connection. Parking is available in the public square in front of the gîte.
