30 minutes from Angers, amidst the vineyards of the Layon hillsides, welcome to Château de la Mulonnière! For the perfect escape from city life, stay in this gite in Beaulieu-sur-Layon, completely refurbished in a 19th century outbuilding.

From the gîte, you can take a stroll through the vineyards, along an old railway line adjacent to the estate or cycle on the "Layon Aubance" loop of the Loire à Vélo cycle route. You can also walk to the charming village of Rablay sur Layon (15 mins).

Visits to make during your stay in this gîte in Beaulieu-sur-Layon: wine-tasting at the wineries, exploring the banks of the Loire and the little island of Béhuard 15 minutes away, Doué la Fontaine and its troglodyte caves 25 minutes away, Saumur 45 minutes away or the Puy du Fou 1 hour away.

In a nod to their years spent in Tokyo, the owners have decorated the gîte with Japanese furniture. The gîte is laid out over 2 levels: entrance via the fully-equipped kitchen (oven, induction hob, coffee maker, kettle, etc.), dining area and lounge with direct access to the outside. Shower room with WC on the ground floor. Upstairs, the mezzanine with television leads to the two bedrooms: one with a 140x190cm double bed and the other with two 80x190cm single beds.

There is an outdoor area with garden furniture, a gas or charcoal barbecue and deckchairs for relaxing moments.

For your convenience, beds are made up on arrival and towels provided. Extra charge: end-of-stay cleaning.
