Are you a keen nature walker who often wonders what plants might be edible? Then head off now for the park at Château du Martreil!
Are you interested in botany and want to know more about how certain plants can be used in your everyday life?
The "Discovering edible wild plants" experience in the heart of the Château du Martreil park will give you the answers to your questions.
During a 2km walk in a park classified as a "remarkable wooded area", you'll learn, through botany, to distinguish edible wild plants from poisonous plants, to learn about their uses and to cook with them, so that you can include them in your daily routine.
Your guide will involve you throughout this sensory escapade full of anecdotes. A herbarium and pesto can also be prepared at the end.
And to top it all off, you can choose between 2 guides:
- Michel Kotenkoff, a specialist and guide in edible wild plants, has taken the Chemin de la Nature gatherer's course. A natural leader, he's always ready to share his knowledge with you in an educational way.
- Michaël Jaunet is a graduate of the École Supérieur d'Agriculture and worked for 15 years as a landscape gardener. He is now a gardening coach and botanical expert, and can help you create your own garden or learn about plants.
So, if you're convinced, book your exclusive, responsible experience in the heart of the Mauges!
