Visites guidées de la ferme pédagogique de la Turmelière

In the land where Joachim du Bellay was born, not far from the banks of the Loire, experience a special moment in contact with the animals of the Turmelière educational farm.

Léanne, who runs the small menagerie, offers guided tours by appointment. Here, geese, ducks, rabbits, goats and other four-legged friends are king.

You can get up close to them, stroke them and even feed them. It's the perfect opportunity to teach children and parents alike about animal welfare, but also about respect for nature and the seasons, with a visit to the vegetable garden.

You'll be sure to find Papyrus, Popette, Lune and their other friends very cute!

Access to the farm is via a separate entrance in the grounds of Château de la Turmelière, 600 metres from the château.
