29th Symposium of monumental sculptures: exhibition of sculptures and paintings at Montjean sur Loire along the Loire à Vélo cycle route between Angers and Nantes...
For ten days, the Quai du Saumon is transformed into a veritable open-air workshop, where creativity takes centre stage. As visitors watch, the artists create their monumental sculptures live, putting on a lively show and giving visitors the chance to share their passion.
This 29ᵉ edition pays tribute to Bertrand Donnot, a loyal sculptor to the symposium since its inception. To celebrate his memory, his closest artist friends will invest this exceptional edition.

The theme chosen to inspire this year's works is: "The fauna and flora of the banks of the Loire", a veritable ode to the nature that borders our majestic river.
The closing evening
On 13 July at 5pm, come and discover the finished works at an official presentation, followed by a convivial moment over a drink.
A not-to-be-missed summer event, the Montjean-sur-Loire Sculpture Symposium has enabled the Loire village to build its identity around art. More than a hundred sculptures from previous editions are dotted around the narrow streets and viewpoints overlooking the Loire. You can discover them along the intramural route in Montjean (map at the tourist office) or along the Loire à Vélo des Sculptures between Montjean-sur-Loire and Le Marillais.
