Exposition Champtoceaux : Claude Boucherau - Philippe Jeannot - Anelaine Tahon

CLAUDE BOUCHEREAU
A sheet metal worker and boilermaker by trade, Claude Bouchereau has become a transformer of tools. He shapes and sculpts objects, giving them a new lease of life and a story based on their forms and his imagination.
The artist will be present: Sunday 5 July in the afternoon, Thursday 16 July from 2.00 pm.

PHILIPPE JEANNOT
At the crossroads of his passions for theatre and the novel, drawing and painting converge on a framed image that can be reinterpreted endlessly, through different perspectives, within a limited timeframe. Yet the two tell each other stories, and ultimately, that is the artist’s sole ambition... But he also plays – it’s in his nature. Thus, his paintings often deceive the first glance. There is a story within the story.
The artist will be present: Thursday 16 July from 2 pm.

ANELAINE TAHON
It is a thread – whether sewing thread or wool – that has travelled all the way to Brazil, where it will find its voice and colours. She will learn to be bold, to experiment with textiles, entirely as a self-taught artist. From tapestries to canvas, her experimental exploration has led to tapestry on canvas. The wool threads trace a design without an initial plan, shaped by the inner language of meditation.
The artist will be present: Thursday 16 July from 2.00 pm, and Friday 17 July during a writing workshop from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm (booking required)
