Circuit impracticable!!! Discover the banks of the Sèvre Nantaise on this walk between Nantes and Cholet.
// Warning // The route is not passable at the Gallard mill (Mulliez Flory factory) due to a rock fall. The section is closed until 31 December 2025.
Whether you're with family or friends, this walk invites you to discover the treasures along the banks of the Sèvre. Pass through magnificent scenery: a fairytale forest lined with rocks, flower-filled landscapes and meadows populated by cows, all along the water's edge. You'll have the chance to admire some incredible views over the Sèvre!
A number of surprises await you along the way, including the hundred-year-old tree at the Prairies picnic area, the famous cave where Curé Brunet hid during the French Revolution, and the Saint-Joseph chapel.
Le Longeron's industrial heritage can also be seen along the way, with the Mulliez-Flory factory, which was once the Bonnet Allion spinning mill.
All in all, an ideal walk for admiring magnificent landscapes, incredible viewpoints and discovering a historic heritage!
If you want to extend your walk, we recommend you take the section of the GR de Pays that leads to the Château de Tiffauges. Alternatively, if you follow the GR in the opposite direction after the Gite de la Roullière, head for the bridge over the Sèvre.
