This itinerant walking loop offers a unique and relaxing experience, combining nature, rivers and heritage.
Along the Èvre and Hyrôme valleys, the trail follows the winding watercourses, sometimes winding along the banks of the river, sometimes rising up to take in bucolic panoramas.
All along the way, the rural landscape is revealed in all its diversity:
- Unspoilt hedgerows, shady undergrowth, windmills and watermills,
- Local heritage, villages with character, and even the highest point in Anjou punctuate the itinerary.
It's a real journey on foot into the heart of a lively and authentic region, where every bend in the path offers a new window onto the natural and cultural riches of the Mauges.
Prepare your itinerary along the Èvre and Hyrôme rivers : 
Access and transport: The stations at Chalonnes-sur-Loire, Varades and Chemillé are the most convenient points from which to start your tour. They also allow you to divide your stay into several stages according to your wishes.
From Cholet, the Aléop bus service provides easy access to certain communes in the south of the loop.
Accommodation along the route: Plan your stay in advance by consulting the accommodation available from the partner tourist offices: Ôsez Mauges, Surprenant Choletais, Anjou Vignoble et Villages. They'll be able to point you in the right direction for your stopovers!
