Un jardin en Anjou, parc et jardins du château de la Montchevalleraie

In the heart of the Anjou Bleu region, in Aviré, the grounds of Château de la Montchevalleraie feature magnificent gardens, including a planted avenue, a rose garden, a conservatory orchard, a vegetable garden, an English park and a pond.

The Château de la Montchevalleraie is home to a magnificent garden covering more than 6 hectares. Redwoods, plane trees, larch, chestnut trees, holm oaks, tulip trees... make up a large natural space featuring an English-style park, a rose garden, an orchard and a pond.

A self-guided tour of the gardens must be combined with a tour of the castle’s interior, except during the Fête de la Nature and the Rendez-vous aux Jardins. A visitor guide is available.
