Materials : Stainless steel and Châteaupanne stone
In homage to Bertrand Donnot, a Montjeann sculptor and a leading figure in the sculpture symposium, the artist has created a stainless steel eel. This fish was very popular with the sculptor, who fished it in the Loire and prepared it as a delicacy for his meals.
Made by fragmenting a stainless steel plate to create the body, the eel seems to undulate in the water. Its colour is matte stainless steel, giving it a silvery sheen.
