Come and discover an exceptional vineyard just 20 minutes from Angers in the Pays Baugeois
Established in the 16th century, the Domaine de la Tuffière, located in Lué-en-Baugeois in Jarzé Villages (49), continues a family tradition of winemaking with respect for nature. Its 26-hectare vineyard, spread across Lué-en-Baugeois, Fontaine-Milon, Cornillé-les-Caves, Mazé, Brion and Villevêque, benefits from a unique terroir composed of Turonian chalk, ideal for iconic grape varieties such as Cabernet Franc and Chenin.
Expertise blending tradition and modernity
• Anjou appellation wines: whites, reds, rosés, Crémant de Loire...
• Sustainable viticulture: practised using integrated pest management, certified High Environmental Value (HVE) since 2018.
• Ageing in troglodytic cellars: carved into the tuffeau limestone, they offer ideal conditions for the maturation of red wines in barrels.
• Certified vineyard: “Caves touristiques” and “Vignobles et Découvertes”, guaranteeing a warm welcome and an enriching wine tourism experience.
A preserved historic and natural setting.
Situated between the Loir and Loire rivers, the vineyard is set on a hill surrounded by forests and châteaux, a landscape shaped by centuries of wine-growing history, notably thanks to the monks of the Priory of La Tuffière Brûlée.
