Cynfaël, le prince du safran

Visit a saffron farm near Nantes: guided tours, saffron tasting, sale of handmade saffron products and cold process soap-making workshops. 35 minutes from Nantes, 15 minutes from Ancenis airfield.

This saffron farm is located at La Bouquetière, just outside the village of St Sauveur de Landemont (25 mins from Nantes and 45 mins from Angers).

Guided tours are organised on request from February to November in the morning (from 6 to 45 people). The tour includes explanations of how a saffron farm works, tastings and recipe cards.

Saffron-based products are on sale to complement your festive dishes (mustard, nettle and saffron fleur de sel, saffron nougat, champagne, muscadet, chardonnay and cider vinegars, saffron syrup, saffron beer, jellies and jams for sandwiches, foie gras or cheese...). ). Saffron has both gustatory and therapeutic properties.

Cooking and soap-making courses are available for adults and children (groups of 2 to 6 people).
