Traditional boat trip on the Loire

Located halfway between Angers and Nantes, Matthieu Perraud's "toue cabanée" will take you on a trip on the royal river, departing from Saint Florent le Vieil. The trip is a friendly one, giving you the chance to chat with this ten-generation professional fisherman.

Can you hear the sound of the water sliding under the toue? The call of the birds, the wind in the foliage? Can you feel the gentle air caressing your face? Then you're aboard Vent d'Soulair or Caillotte, the two Loire en Bateau cabins! Enjoy an attractive, relaxing trip on the royal river...

At the helm of the boat, you may have the chance to meet Matthieu Perraud (or one of the other drivers), a passionate professional fisherman from a family of fishermen (10th generation). He will introduce you to the world of fishing, an ancestral activity that is still practised on the river.

The 2 cabins can each accommodate 5 to 12 passengers. The trip is a convivial one, giving you the chance to chat with the boat's pilot and the other passengers seated opposite you in an intimate atmosphere.

The 1.5-hour trip gives you an insight into the river and its environment, but themed trips are also available: aperitif evening, coffee and croissants outing (booking required).
