Hire a bike in Montjean-sur-Loire – A cycle ride – Map and route through Anjou. Starting from Montjean-sur-Loire, this activity allows you to explore the Loire à Vélo cycle route and its local loops at your own pace, on a flat route running alongside the river.

At the Osez Mauges Tourist Office, the reception team will provide you with your bikes and a detailed map of the route between Angers and Nantes. This map allows you to identify the key stops along the route: Saint-Florent-le-Vieil, Chalonnes-sur-Loire and the port of Montjean-sur-Loire.

How your bike hire works:
- Equipment: You collect the bikes from the Montjean-sur-Loire Tourist Office.
- Route: The staff will give you the map and show you how to access the cycle paths.
- Departure: You’ll join the signposted ‘Loire à Vélo’ cycle path, which is right nearby.
- Self-guided ride: You’ll follow the route to explore the neighbouring villages.
- Return: Bikes will be available from 10.00 and must be returned by 18.15.
