A trip on the Loire aboard a "gabarot de Loire

Come aboard and be surprised! A varied programme of cruises from April to October.

From April to the end of October, Les Chalandoux du Vème Vent, an association of Loire bargemen, will be offering cruises aboard a gabarot, a wooden boat of heritage interest. The aim is to enable a broad public to reclaim this great river and take a fresh look at its cultural, heritage, tourist and ecological importance.
Come and meet us and discover the landscapes of the Loire, recognised by UNESCO.

Themed walks are scheduled throughout the summer: ApéroLoire at sunset, Echappées Belles, les 5 Sens... with food and wine or beer pairings; Fauna, Flora and Islands of the Loire, Musical walks, Le Monde de la Loire (lectures on the boat: archaeology, painters of the Loire...)
Meet up at the Loire port, at the pontoon in Chalonnes sur Loire. People who are passionate about the Loire will be delighted to welcome you.
