A rendezvous with nature in every season...
In the heart of one of Champtoceaux's most typical villages, at La Patache, a former bargemen's village, this charming period house offers all the charm of stone and the banks of the Loire.
From its terrace or balcony, you can enjoy an exceptional panoramic view of the Loire.
Bathed in light and with a view over the river, the 60m² living room with its open, fully-equipped kitchen is the ideal place to relax in any season. In summer, you can enjoy breakfast on the balcony with the sun rising over the Loire, and in winter, you can sit by the fire and enjoy the view from the warmth of the fireplace. A pleasant indoor garden with a green wall completes the ensemble.
Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms and two shower rooms. Each bedroom has a double bed and storage space. Two bedrooms overlook the Loire and one overlooks the flower garden.
The house has a garden on the ground floor with direct access to the river and a second garden to the rear of the house overlooking the village.
This is a great place to spend time with friends or family, contemplating the river and living in harmony with nature.
For overnight bookings, a "chambre d'hôtes" option is available, including a local breakfast.
This gîte is suitable for families of between 4 and 10 people (extra beds can be added on request). However, for larger groups, it is possible to rent a similar gîte in the same hamlet, just a few streets away from the gîte.
For nature lovers, John Patach, Loire guide, offers guided and supervised outings on the river from the gîte.
Nearby: the GR3 trail (passing at the foot of the house), La Loire à Vélo, canoeing and kayaking and discovering the vineyards with the sound of birdsong.
