Between the vineyards and Layon, in the heart of a family-run wine estate.
Welcome to L’Angelière! Set in the heart of a family-run wine estate, this air-conditioned holiday cottage amongst the vineyards is the ideal place to enjoy a relaxing break with family or friends, surrounded by nature. The owners will be delighted to share with you their work, from the vineyard to the cellar. Situated in Maine-et-Loire, on the banks of the Layon, the Domaine de l’Angelière produces a wide range of Anjou wines. What better way to spend your stay than to savour the gentle charm of Anjou: taking your time to sample the wines and local produce?
Covering an area of 91m², this single-storey gîte, renovated in 2024, features a living area with a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a relaxation area with a television. There are three bedrooms: two with a double bed (140cm x 190cm) and one with two single beds (90cm x 190cm). A bathroom with a large walk-in shower and two toilets, one of which is separate, complete the gîte.
You can enjoy sunny days on the terrace (garden furniture, barbecue and sun loungers provided) or in the unfenced garden below. A pond just a few metres from the gîte will delight fishing enthusiasts (carp, pike, freshwater fish, etc.).
There are many attractions to discover near the gîte: the Camifolia Garden in Chemillé, 20 minutes away; the famous Puy du Fou, 50 minutes away; Angers, with its Château des Ducs d’Anjou and Terra Botanica botanical park, 35 minutes away; the Bioparc in Doué-en-Anjou, 25 minutes away; and Saumur, with its banks of the Loire and the Cadre Noir, 45 minutes away.
For your comfort, this holiday let provides baby equipment (travel cot, high chair, baby bath, etc.), air conditioning and Wi-Fi. You can park your car in front of the gîte, and a garage is available for your bikes. And for a holiday with a larger group of friends, please note that the estate also welcomes motorhome guests (maximum 2).
