Montjean-sur-Loire: A crossroads between river and heritage
Located just 160 metres from the Tourist Office (open from April to September), the gîte is the ideal base for exploring the surrounding area:
-Heritage: Montjean was once the Loire's first port, and you can discover its monumental sculptures and its history as a chauf manufacturer.
-Activities: Take a cruise on the river or visit Cap Loire, a discovery park on the world of the Loire and its boats. No boats on the water here! They are set up directly in the gardens and visitors can discover them on land.
-Nature: Explore the Mauges hiking trails or paddle the Loire in a canoe.
-Amenities: Shops, restaurants and taverns are all within easy reach on foot or by bike, so you can savour the softness of Anjou.
