Discover the banks of the Moine between the Vendée and Clisson.
Through the trees and along the banks of the Moine, this 12km walk is ideal for sneaking into the shade and avoiding the summer heat.
This charming walk, almost entirely in the countryside, invites you to discover a variety of landscapes. As you stroll through the woods, you'll skirt the banks of the Moine and wide meadows. Along the way, you'll be amazed by the views over the river and the hills all around you, offering a magnificent panorama of vineyards and forests.
You'll pass through wine-growing landscapes where a number of emblematic Maine-et-Loire wines are made, including the Muscadet appellation Sèvre et Maine and the AOC Mouzillon-Tillières. There's even an estate waiting for you along the way!
The Pierre de l'Écuelle, an impressive rock at the heart of a local legend, is on your route. According to legend, the fairy Mélusine was carrying a large boulder in her dorne (apron) when a ramp gave way, dropping the stone. This is how she came to be responsible for the strange layout of these rocks.
The banks of the Moine and the Espace Bikini are home to many species of plants and animals. If you're lucky, you might even spot a beaver!
