Take a 4-kilometre stroll through the old streets of the Loire town, discovering its seafaring heritage and its history, which is closely linked to the Vendée Wars.
From the Tourist Office, walk along the banks of the Loire to the Maison Julien Gracq, the local author, before heading off in the direction of the Chapelle Cathelineau. Climb up the Grande Rue to reach the abbey church and the sublime panorama of Mont-Glonne over the Loire Valley, before heading for the peaceful Promenade Julien Gracq, which runs alongside the town's old fortifications.
