Le Lion-d'Angers has a lot to offer. Awarded the "Ville fleurie 3 fleurs" (3 flowers) label, the town has a number of treasures to offer, including the church of Saint-Martin-de-Vertou and its 16th-century murals, as well as the Isle Briand departmental park, classified as a Sensitive Natural Area. You can also take in the Mondial du Lion, an international equestrian competition featuring the world's greatest riders and horses (aged 6 and 7).
