What if charm and beauty had found a home here?
15 minutes south of Angers, between the Loire and the châteaux of Anjou, the gîte "Au temps suspendu" has been tastefully restored by Andréa and Philippe, who welcome you for a stay with family or friends. Enjoy the authentic charm of tuffeau, slate and sunsets over the valley and vineyards. Dating from the 19th century, the house has been tastefully decorated and boasts a large, bright living room, a new kitchen, bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, and a spacious terrace with access to the peaceful garden, sun loungers and a large table for al fresco dining.
The accommodation
Facing a horizon where sumptuous sunsets blossom, Andréa and Philippe have restored the house using authentic materials - tufa, stone, slate, terracotta tiles - and ecological choices, with a refined, cosy decor to welcome your guests. A vast terrace leads from the ground floor to a bright living room, kitchen and bedrooms. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have their own bathrooms, while bedroom 1 has a bathroom right next door. The garden has sun loungers for reading under the trees or watching the sunset. The peaceful countryside, the splendour of the sites, the walks through the vineyards and the restaurants on offer are all yours.
Access for travellers
In this detached house, the whole of the accommodation, with its large terrace and wooded garden, is accessible for your stay for up to 10 people (1 bedroom with a double bed + 1 bedroom with a double bed and 2 single beds and a double bed on the mezzanine + 1 bedroom with a double bed). Parking is available in the courtyard or outside. Andréa and Philippe will be delighted to welcome you and can, if you wish, share any information you may need to make your stay a success.
Other comments
The accommodation is on one level and accessible to people with reduced mobility. One of the bedrooms has a bathroom accessible for a person using a 0.80 wheelchair.
You will be staying in the heart of the countryside, with the opportunity to walk through the vineyards and along the rivers, while still being only a quarter of an hour from the town's amenities.
